In celebration of the CBAA foundation day, the
Padian sa CBAA was officialy opened for the public and also signals the
week-long celebration of the CBAA foundation day. A program was held at the
Peace Plaza, where the Padian is located. Faculties and the Dean attended the
program and the students were invited also. A ribbon cutting was also done to
officialy open it.
Different
Entrep. Marketing students had a chance to practice their inner talent in doing
business. We were tasked to sell RTW items at the Padian. It was such a
wonderful experience being there selling something. It lets you experience the
real world business that happens in real life. The Padian itself has a very
inviting and festive atmosphere. Its like a Barrio Fiesta happening right in
the heart of the university. Each of the sections has a unique set of merchandise,
for instance is the souvenir items, men apparels, women apparels and many
others. I had a great time while staying inside our booth. We were assigned to
sell men’s apparel. I’ve met a lot of people that came into our booth and with
the right sales talk, I persuaded some of them to buy one of our items. I also
had a chance to meet new friends especially our neighbouring booths who also
sells a unique set of merchandise. Rain
or shine, we are ready to open our booths to accommodate our buyers. I think the
most fun part is the assembling of our tent in the morning. It was a bonding
moment for all of us. Some would carry the tent from the canteen to the peace
plaza, others will assemble it and others will display our stocks. We had a
different roles to perform. And every afternoon, it would always be a windy
type of afternoon and some of my classmates brought their speakers and we would
listen to music to entertain ourselves.
I had a lot of
experience in the Padian which I can apply to myself in the near future. It was
really fun selling to the other students. I am very glad that I had a chance to
experience the padian sa CBAA.
