ALL ABOUT ME

If you are reading this first part of my letter, then expect to know something about me. I don’t know the reason how we got here, but I can say that its worth your while. I’m sure that my life is as exciting as the celebrities’.
My name is Faharodin M. Sulaiman and I was born on January 5, 1997. And by the time I’m writing this letter, I am now 20 years old. And has experienced the cruelties and joy that this world could bring. I have 5 siblings so there are 7 of us in my family in total including my mother and father. I can say that we’re a pretty big family cause we can’t even fit into a normal SUV car. I live in Cotabato City which is part of Region XII and to specify further, a part of Maguindanao province. It’s a 4 hours drive when you want to get there from Marawi City. Which means I travel 4 hours whenever I go home to my homeland. Some will say that its just a small travel time compared to other, little did they know that there’s this part of the road in which they pure zig-zag roads and that you have to endure for 45 minutes which is very tiresome and makes you dizzy.
I studied elementary in Cotabato City Central Pilot School in the same school where my mother also went and graduated. It has been years since I last visited there, I can barely remember some of good memories there. But I assure you that there is. So fast forward to high-school, I studied at Notre Dame of Cotabato which is a catholic school and was once an all boys’ school. I really had a lot of good memories there. Indeed high-school is really the best part of your life. I  was part of our student council which is called as SCORe Officers or the Student Council Of Representatives. I was a part of it for two years. So I had experienced being a normal student for two years and also being an officer for two years. Which is really satisfying. What I love about it is that it prepared me for what’s coming, especially in college. We attended numerous trainings and seminars in all parts of the Philippines which is really exciting. I can say that all my efforts were paid off because by the time of our graduation, our moderator surprised me and my other two co-officers that the CHED will give us a special award. Which is the top 10 outstanding leaders of Cotabato City. And from this 10 awards, 3 were given to our school and I was one of the recipients. I can never really fully express how I felt that day. I was bursting with confidence and happiness! I feel so proud!
I really find my passion in public speaking especially when giving a talk on a seminar which I tried numerous times already. I’m also into movies and into books. I have two favourite books which are “Looking for Alaska” by John Green and “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” by Stephen Chbosky. I’ve read them for like 4 times now and it is just a piece of work for me. It is the best coming of age books in the market.

Well, that’s it for now, an update and some additional infos about me will be posted here on my blog so watch out for it, I might give some reviews on the books that I’ve read and some movies that I’ve watched. Watch out for it!
